It has done it with other program installers too.

I had to uninstall and reinstall D-Tools to clear it out don't want to have to keep doing that every time it happens. ich habe seit einigen Wochen das Problem, dass ich Daemon Tools nicht installieren kann. Ich habe vor 2 Jahren 2 Lizenzen von Daemon Tools Pro Adv erworben und auch immer aktualisiert. Aber ich kann nicht mehr auf die Seite secure.disc-soft.com zugreifen und kann mich da auch nicht anmelden die Fehlermeldungen, die ich dabei bekomme sind folgende:

1.
Fehler: Gesicherte Verbindung fehlgeschlagen

Ein Fehler ist während einer Verbindung mit secure.disc-soft.com aufgetreten.

SSL hat einen Eintrag erhalten, der die maximal erlaubte Länge überschritten hat.

(Fehlercode: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long)

und 2.
Fehler: Datenübertragung unterbrochen

Die Verbindung zu secure.disc-soft.com wurde unterbrochen, während die Seite geladen wurde.

An mir kann es nicht liegen, da ich auf allen anderen Seiten problemlos (auch mit SSL) draufkomme.
Und die Installation an sich geht eben auch nicht, da diese eine online aktivierung versucht aber keine Verbindung mit der Seite herstellen kann.
Und den Kundendienst kann ich auch nicht anschreiben, weil ich dann eben auch auf die gleiche Seite weitergeleitet werde.

Wäre echt nett wenn da jemand helfen könnte.

Basically, I installed TES4 on my desktop with the original DVD, no problem there, then made an .ISO file using DT Lite to play it.

I have no problem at all playing it and everything is working fine.

Now here is the bug, I transferred the three .iso file (since there is 3 DVD) on my laptop, if i get in the mood to install it, and I leave it like that.

Now 3 days later I decide to install it, so I mount the .ISO and this SecuROM message pops up asking for the original DVD.

From my search on the forum, I got that my .iso made with Lite could be the problem, but I dont have the DVD with me right now, as I have left it at my place and I'm at a friend (2h drive from home -.-) and I'd really like to know if there is a way to modify the current .ISO so it would work, or avoid secuROM checks.

Also if I am to redo the image (i now have the trial version of DT pro) what would I have to do to ensure it works?

Might be useful to know ive activated the emulation for securom, but i got no idea how it works if there is something more to do than checking a box.

I'm new to using Daemon Tools or any kind of virtual drive, and am struggling with some probably-basic concepts. I've read through some topics here and tried to puzzle my problem out, but am stumped.

Basically, I'm trying to run an image with Securom 07.37.0014, and have successfully installed the program, but when attempting to run it I receive a "wrong disc inserted" error.

I have Daemon Tools Lite and the trial of Alcohol 52%, and have downloaded YASU (though no idea how to use it). I don't own a credit card so sadly paying for emulation tools isn't an option right now.

Can anyone help?

I tried out Daemon Tools and I must of done something terribly wrong, immediately after I tried to create a virtual drive both of my burners stopped working, the DVD burner stopped working completely, the drawer won't even open, the CD burner will accept disks, the read light flashes, but no matter what disk I put in, no files are read. The CD Rom still works perfectly, and all three worked perfectly before I installed and tried out the software.
To fix the problem, after trying everything I could think of, cleaning the burners, using the trouble shooting wizard, even installing new Drivers, trying a system restore, the device manager still insisted that both units were working properly! was to replace both of the burners.
Dose anyone have any idea what I might of done to create such damage?
Running Windows XP SP3
