D-Tools V4 Today?

i want to cnow too , i need desperately DT4 , others vCD tools cant mount mds/mdf images

Hiya don't wanna speak out of my turn here but seeing as everybody been waiting for DT4 myself included might I suggest in the meantime use a little proggie called FantomDVD it works great with XP64. Just rename your mdf file to ISO and it mounts fine.

(Read: Decent) Now If We Had Other Option's That Were Also Free And Easy To Use Then There Wouldn't Be So Much Bitching And Attempts To Hurry Them Up. NetSoerfer please try to understand that is very hard to come here daily for 4 months and see delay after delay , I KNOW i didn't pay for the software so i'm not allowed to demand anything but you guys need to realize that if you keep delaying this software it's gonna become obsolete and no one will be interested in it anymore.

I think it's a little rude when a person/consumer asks "will it come today?" and you just ignore the question. How hard is it to say, it won't come out today, please have more patience, we are doing everything we can to get DV4 to your computers, or something like that. And I think it's wrong to give no information to the people who have paid for the Pro-version, I don't wanna pay a fee and have no idea when I will get the product that I've paid for. So please for the love of god, say yes or no on this question. Will the Daemon Tools V4/Pro be released TODAY? And I am totaly fine with the answer NO, because then I can do some more important things then hang here.

First of all, I'm pretty sure you don't know what we told our customers and what we didn't.

As for the rest, it'll be released when it's done. And we don't know when it's done because we don't know how many bugs are yet to be found and fixed.

And just so you can do whatever else you have to do:

If you're anxious for half-finished products riddled with bugs I suggest checking out Electronic Arts line of products rather than Daemon-Tools... ;D

I'm not sure what programs you have, but DT4 is still offering something that no other decent drive emulation programs offer: virtual IDE instead of virtual SCSI. If you don't know the difference, then don't complain about it possibly becoming outdated. For instance, while there is a workaround for SF-protected software, DT4 will (hopefully) make it immensely easier than current methods.

Everybody needs to realize that holding a developer to a strict deadline is not the best method for getting a quality product, especially if you're dealing with a small dev group who are offering a free version to the public.

I think you didn't offend anybody, because it's becoming more and more annoying in here. And such users who just (sorry for this one) vomitting the same questions every single day, to not seem to understand how hard it is to bring such a prg alive, but this was already mentioned many times in this place (even though nobody seems to be intersted in this)
