I installed DT successfully, but every time I try to run it, it informs me I need to be the local administrator to run it the first time. I am already the local administrator. Is there some way around this?

If you are on vista: right click the daemon-tools shortcut on the desktop or start menu- choose run as admin

OR maybe something like this: disable UAC, reboot, run DAEMON Tools, re-enable UAC.
