Default IDE Driver does NOT show up no matter what I do. Daemon Tools completely ignores it.

    No system error, NOTHING.

I simply select add IDE driver, and it asks for me to reboot. Ok fine and dandy right? Well after it reboots it says 'updating driver list'. I go and check if the IDE is added but NOPE. Nothing. Daemon Tools just doesn't want to add an IDE virtual drive. It just doesn't. I searched the forums and NO one has this problem. I really am the only one.

Please try this Microsoft FixIt solution & reboot
Your CD or DVD drive can't read or write media

Which DT Pro version exactly are you using ?
Which security software(s) are installed ?
I'm no DAEMON Tools staff member & my views are completely personal
