It depends on where you live.

Here is another offer from Amazon UK:
Amazon.co.uk: LG GH20NS10 AUAR10B 20x DVDRW SATA Black Retail Kit: Electronics & Photo

I have an account at Newegg... is there anything there you would recommend? I really do appreciate all your help with this!

Just checked out amazon.com and it would be more than 50 $ with adapter.

You could try the model you linked in 1st post here and when it doesn't suit the needs of DPM etc., send it back. If i remember you have 14 days to send it back.

Will the LG GH20NS10, the model you recommended, do everything I need in regards to DPM and copy protections?

Yes, i can read every protection i want and it is working then.

Newegg.com - LG Black 20X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 16X DVD+R DL 20X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 12X DVD-RAM 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-R 32X CD-RW 48X CD-ROM 2MB Cache SATA 20X DVD±R DVD Burner w/ SecurDisc Tech - CD / DVD Burners

It is the successor of the drive i recommended, so it should be at least so good as GH20NS10.

Thanks for that!

One more question... any external enclosures you would recommend?

External enclosures are normally the same. Also for usb sata adapters.

EDIT: I have a USB2.0 to IDE+SATA adapter by MCE and working perfectly here.
