Frage Is StarWind compatible with Microsoft iSCSI Initiator?

Is StarWind compatible with Microsoft iSCSI Initiator 2.02? I get "Initiator Error." message when i try to logon to StarWind target. Event Viewer shows "Login request failed." message from iScsiPrt source. StarPort works ok.

Normal it should be compatible (I only tested 2.0 not 2.0.2)... Did you connect to localhost..? As far as I know that is not allowed...

No, different machines. StarPort works, but not MS iSCSI Initiator. Looks like auth. error but I don't know what needs to be configured.

Have you set a password for accessing the iSCSI-Drive..? Probably you need to setup some of the advanced options in iSCSI-Initiator...

No, I prefer anonymous mode. Advanced dialog has CHAP authentication options but I don't know what to put there.

Stange... I only tried v2.0 iSCSI-Initiator and that one worked/works without any problems, so either there is a bug in v2.0.2 or there is something configured wrong or your StarWind-Service is newer than mine (which could be possible) and there something has changed...

EDIT: I will try v2.0.2 if I find some time...

Thank you for information. What version of StarWind do you use? I have 2.4.3 build 0x20050116.
