I just downloaded daemon4301-lite.exe
I would like to know what options to uncheck so that i dont install spyware.

The best thread i found on this forum was in 2006 and there isnt enough information on it

Which options do i uncheck so that i dont get any spyware/adware/nastystuff etc....

1) Integrate with Windows Explorer <-- I am not sure about this
2) Daemon Tools default search provider <-- I am pretty sure i dont want this one
3) Daemon Tools Toolbar <-- I think this one is no good also
4) Desktop Shortcut <-- Im pretty sure this one is safe
5) Start Menu Shortcuts <-- Im pretty sure this one is safe

An example of an answer can be as simple as

1) Check
2) Uncheck
3) Uncheck
4) Check
5) Check

if you would like to explain what each option is i am all ears...

I am still kinda curious as to what the other options do though hopefully someone can help me out with this

2) Daemon Tools default search provider <-- I am assuming this will change my homepage?

3) Daemon Tools Toolbar <-- I am assuming this will add a toolbar to firefox or IE

You are correct about point 2 and 3. Home page is your default site which gets started when browser is starting.

About point 1:

It associates supported image files with DAEMON Tools Lite, so you only have to double click on the image file to mount into DAEMON Tools Lite.
