You take your CD, you put it on a sheet of paper, and with a pencil you draw its contour... and voilà, you have your CD image.

I never tried it that way, but it works.
For creating an image you need a program like Alcohol 120%, its easy to use for new users. Check out their website:

Scan the copyprotection of the cd with A-ray Scanner, then choose the corresponding profile in Alcohols image making wizard.
