  • StarForce 3.6 Disable IDE CDROM in BIOS will it work?

As the question in the title.. If I decide to disable the IDE CDROM's in BIOS by disabling the motherboards IDE 2 Controller should that allow games that use the Starforce 3.6 to work? or would I need to physically unplug the CD-ROM'S for these games to work?

    Help would be appreciated

    I've had problems with
    GT Legends
    King Kong
Trackmania Sunrise Extreme (sunrise not patched works)

Normally you have to unplug them, deaktivating them in BIOS only works for SF <3.5.

I have gotten it to work on an Azus, and Intel mobis with windows XP installed by diableing in the BIOS, BUT YOU have to disable the secondary drive in the windows device manager. I have only tested this on windows XP. But if you computer is not set up to use a secondary IDE connection like mine is, then you just need to disabled the IDE connection in the bios.
