  • What's this fuss aout starforce?

In my experience it's not really a good protection, it's an annoyance at best. I'm probably one of the few people who has been able to play every SF protected game out there. The only thing I do is unmount my laptops drive through the windows "safely remove hardware" thingy and I'm ready to go.

Basicly it has a huge hole in it which can be easily exploited since laptops are becoming more affordable and mainstream everyday.

Really don't see what this fuss is all about.

Well for starters not everyone has a notebook.
Secondly, some of the high end notebooks avalible do not compare to a high end gaming station (Speed, performance, GFX or even disk space).

    laptops are becoming more affordable
True, but if i had to get a notebook that comes anyware close to my Desktop specs, i'd have to shell out a fortune.
The top end notebook from Alienware, that does not come close to my desktop sells for $4,499 (mmm, cheap you say)

Anyways, yes notebooks are the future, it is just a matter of time before they can perform or even out perform a desktop.
