  • Virtual drive always reports capacity as 598mb

    Running the latest v4.03 + 1.25 SPTD.

Without or without a valid image file mounted, XP (SP2) reports the device as having a capacity of 598mb. Not really a problem in itself but if I mount an image of any type I'm unable to explore it and the system still reports the capacity as 598mb.

    Any mucho appreciated

    neildo.

Did you first had DT with 1.24 installed? Did it work with it?

I've been using DT on this particular PC since v3.29 successfully. I can't remember when or why I put v4.03 on and never noticed when it stopped working properly.

I did some tests the other day and it turns out that the problem only occurs if I set the single device to drive letter 'F'. If I change it to anything else it behaves normally.

So something either in DT or XP is forcing drive F to report 598mb even if there is no image mounted. Alcohol 120% is installed too but its not using drive F and never has.
