  • Mounting then nothing.

I've used daemon tools for a while now and very recently I am just able to mount images, nothing more, no virtual drive or installation menu.

I thoguht it was just this 1 iso but i unmounted a perfectly good iso then remounted it and same thing happened.

I uninstalled and reinstalled nothing was fixed. I talked to a few people and read a few articles and one person was talking about unnistalling my dvd drive then reinstalling it because thats how it fixed for him and 2 other people (on an IM program I have) both formatted when this happened and it fixed for them.

I think both soultion brought forward were extreme.
    Anyone have an idea?

WHich version of Daemon-Tools do you have installed? Are you using Win XP?
Do you see the virtual drive at My Computer or in Device Manager?

Maybe there's just a problem with autorun. There's a tool called AutoFix from Microsoft to check and fix autorun problems.

pointing to thread image mounted, doesnt detect CD

this post also links to that program:

The question is: Does autofix change AIN or just autoplay (aka autorun) settings? I don't know.
