Un-install Daemon Tools, ensure dtscsi.sys (in Windows\System32\Drivers directory) is removed, if not, rename/delete it, reboot, then re-install v4.03.

          Similiar problem

I have a similiar problem. When i install v4.03 the setup goes through fine but when u open dt a pop up saying invalid device comes up. if u click ok then right click on tray icon the same message.

I have xp service pack 1 and raid which apparantly causes some problems.

Any devices with yellow exclamation marks in device manager?
Any SPTD layer or dtscsi.sys related error messages in system event log (run eventvwr.msc)? If any, post them here incl. all binary bytes.

I am running the X64 version and getting a similar msg.

"Driver version mismatch-reinstall or update applacation"

Every time I try to load Daemon tool I get that msg. I try the fix you had for the x86 version but it doesn't work. Is there anyther fix for the x64 version?
