    Hello

    The bug/problem:
Sometimes, when I mount an image, and try to 'auto play' the CD/DVD, my computer slows down. I dont like resetting so I wait and usually, after some time, everything goes back to normal. Although I had to force the end of auto run application through task manager. When I look into the event log I see a lot of errors and warnings:

This is usually the first one:

Operating System and any major updates (service packs, etc...)

Windows XP SP2, up to date
The motherboard is ABIT KG7 RAID with an onboard RAID controller (Highpoint). I am using drivers hpt3xx_v234_370_372. It always worked without any problems. Only one hard disk is connected to the controller. That hard disk is where the system drive is located. In the device manager there are 3 SCSI/RAID controllers:
SCSI/RAID host controller (the virtual one?)
    Highpoint onboard
    Promise expansion card

SCSI/RAID host controller is using IRQ 9 and the other two IRQ 3. There are no resource sharings between the hardware.

I mention this because the errors suggest that there are some conflicts between the two. I have also noticed that I have this issue (until now) only when opening images located on the hard disk that is connected to the highpoint controller.

    Version of Daemon-Tools
    4.03HE

ALL burning software or other cd emulation software
No other emulation installed. I had also the latest nero instaled and Nero drivespeed was running.

Have you or are you running easy cd creator?
    no

Hope this issue can be resolved.
