  • BSOD when playing analog audio

I'm running a game from my virtual drive but it won't play any music. I figured out the problem was analog audio, so I enabled the 'analog audio' option in D-Tools. Whenever the game tries to play music though windows with crash to a blue screen. Disabling 'digital audio' for the virtual drive via device manager does not have any effect.

    The BSOD error is:

    STOP 0x000000F4 (0x00000003, 0x89B72A48, 0x89B72BBC, 0x905C7478)

I'm currently using v3.46. I tried some older versions but they had the same problem.

    Did you try v3.47 yet?
Do you have minidump (in Windows\Minidump folder) related to that BSOD? If so send newest file to support@daemon-tools.cc with reference to this thread.

Sorry to revive that old thread, but I have exactly the same problem. In fact.... it comes with... SP2. without it, it works like a charm. And... there is no minidump

I can't use dt 4 cause there is no analog support and I really need it (please don't tell me dt4 doesn't need it, cause I'd try and it doesn't work) and finally a saw that I was not alone

The lack of this option prevent me to register DT4
