  • problems installing in 4.06

I used to have the old version of daemon tools (3.46) i guess ... but when i tried to install v4.06 it hang up in winxp boot screen ... then i reboot and put to run in last known configuration and i can boot without problems but when windows starts i get a pop up that says that in order to run i need to have windows 2000 and stpd 1.28 ... but i have winxp!! the previous version 4.03 doesnt work too because of stpd.

I have kaspersky antivirus, spybot, spyware blaster, Ad-aware personal and FlyakiteOSX(is a program that allows ur winxp looks like tygerOSX).

the errormessage is what you need AT LEAST, you need
AT LEAST Win2k. As you have WinXP, everything's fine.
The errormessage just try to tell you that SPTD is required

What concerns the problems: With such amount of security-
software, its maybe possible that one of them collides with
SPTD-driver. Try to deinstall them and then reinstall them one
by one until you see the same problem again. This is the best
method to isolate the problem. While you do this, I recommend
    to be disconnected to inet
