  • Files being used even after uninstall

    Operating System: WinXP
    Burning Software: Nero
    Anti-virus Software: Norton
    DAEMON Tools Version: The latest

    Hey!

Ok, I mounted two bin-files earlier. Then I unmounted them. When I try to delete the files I get an error saying the files are being used by another application. That's weird since I have uninstalled Daemon Tools and the files should be able to delete. And after rebooting the computer I can still see three generic devices in the system and sometimes they are mounted with the files that I mounted earlier. Even though DT is uninstalled. And I also get three new/extra devices, in all I have 6 devices that has been made by DT. Now, that's weird!!
So here I am with 3 and sometimes 6 DT created devices but with no DT installed on my computer. Any suggestions on what to do now? Really anoying...

    Start device manager.

Remove pnp bios extension from system devices. Remove st??? scsi controller from scsi section. Remove cdroms from cdrom section. Reboot
