Trying to do an installation on a new computer.

The computer is a Dell laptop (clean business install), Intel Centrino Duo, with 2 gigs of ram.


Error displayed during install.

I don't have any document managers installed.

Same problem as above--recently formatted drive and installed XP Home SP2 and all updates.
I don't have any document managers nor Embassy Trust Suite.

All i have is

Adobe Acrobat
Microsoft Office 2003(PowerPoint and Word only)

Active Virus Shield (no AOL)

I also had problems installing version 4.09 and 4.10. What saved my day was the following: I ran the installer (4.10 with SPTD 1.50), which first installed SPTD 1.50. After that I rebooted the system and the installation went along. Unfortunately this resulted in the message "Internal setup error. Contact support". I then ran the installer with the option "Run as" (right-click the executable). I filled in the settings for the Administrator account and the installation went fine!
