  • Daemon tools 4.08 and blindwrite

    I get the follwing error message when i try to mount an blindwrite image .B6T

    "Unable to mount image. Unable to open file in kernel mode.

    any suggestions?

    What size is the file? Is it > 4.5GB? If so, it's probably dual-layer and the plugin doesn't work so well with DL BW images as they have no marker to distinguish between layer changes. If it's not a DL image, then I don't know.

      It's three files, the biggest is 2GB and one 700MB and the one that daemon tools want is 10k....so i guess it's something else...

        A workaround may be to disable automatic file splitting in the BlindWrite options.

          can someone plz upload the updated bwmount5.dll again? the
          link http://www.csclub.uwaterloo.ca/%7Edtbartle/bw5mount.zip is dead.. as well as every single other link i found on the net...
