game isos not running since upgrading to 4.08

Installed 4.08 sp1.38 fine from old version of 4.03eh
which has been working well for some time now
however we have noticed the new version is not
working with games earth2150 and LOFR middle earth
it simply drops out and halts game.. lords
just destroys buildings and quits.. I think this is cos it no longer
detects the iso as a real cdrom and ends game about 5 minutes in
we go back to old version perhaps and wait for
more stable dtools in 2007
anyhow one else had same problems?
we also tried reinstalling, no difference

we wondered if the options had different ticks
whats Inuse check?
maybe that needs to be tick

Have you tried recreating the images in another format besides ISO. ISO isn't the best choice for copy protected games.
