  • Daemon 4.08 and Vista 64 - No image is recognized

    Hello,

I am using Daemon Tools 4.08 under Windows Vista 64.

When I am mounting any image with Daemon Tools, in explorer nothing is shown, if I want to show the contents of the virtual drive I get the message: "Drive X is empty, please insert disc".
So obviously no image is recognize when loaded by Daemon Tools. Does anybody know what is wrong?

    Thanks

    alexander.

Set virtual drive number to 0, then set it to 1 and mount again, worked a little time ago for me.

Thanks a lot. Unfortunately here it doesnґt work. Sometime but not everytime an image can be mounted when restarting the computer, but not everytime.

      With kind regards

        Vista vs. DAEMON Tools

I have the same problem, but I solve it.
Open Device Management and install driver for virtual CD drive (you can find it in Other devices group of Device Manager).

        Good luck!
