Conflict with burning software

Ashampoo Burning Studio 6.5 takes too long, like 2 minutes, to open when daemon tools 4.09.1 emulation options are enabled. Disabling them solves it and it opens almost immediatly.
CPU: Athlon64 X2 4800+
Mobo: Gigabyte K8NS-939 (nforce3)
OS: Windows XP SP2 patched up to date
Burning Software: Ashampoo Burning Studio 6.5, Alcohol 120% 1.9.6, ImgBurn 2.3.2.0, Anydvd 6.1.3.6, Never had Easy CD/DVD/Media Creator installed.
Security Software: Kaspersky Antivirus 6.0.2.621, Agnitum Outpost 4.00.1007.7323
