Installations stutter when mounting images.

Hi there,

Never ever had any problems with DT - untill i rebuilt my PC using a 4400 x2 in my SN25P - I seem to be getting stutter every 5/10 seconds for about a second or so when installing the files from the image..

I've ran all the hotfix's to sort my Chip out and gaming is ok - but this is really bugging me.

System is

AMD 4400 x2 939
Shuttle SN25P
2GB Corsair and 7900GT..

I really cant figure out whats causing it, i've tried setting the affinity on the daemon.exe to one core and it still stutters like mad..

Any idea's!

Which Windows, Daemon Tools, and SPTD layer version do you use?
Did you try latest SPTD beta version yet?

Sorry - why i didnt add that i dunno..

Took the latest version of daemon tools 4.09 x86 - and im using XP Pro on SP2 - i also ran the patch - nothing seemed to fix it though.. its just like terrible lag when it writes to my HDD - HDD is fine though as it runs the games perfectly.

Try opening up Task Manager and see if any processes are using a lot of resources when it lags.
