  • Mini-images?

    All the images I make with Alcohol 120% are the size of the data on the disk which sometimes can be massive. Around on the net I have found mini-images which are merely a few mbs. How do you make them?

    Thanks,

    otester

        Maybe this thread is also useful.

        If there is no ISO check (explained in the linked thread) this method should work for all Securom DVD titles:

        - Download WinHex trial
        - Open your mdf file with WinHex
        - Edit -> Define Block... (Beginning: 0, End: 87FF)
        - Edit -> Copy Block -> Into new file; save as *.mdf
        - use your original mds file with that mdf

        For Securom CDs is has to be a so called Maxi Image (as described on CDFreaks)

        And here you can find some info about Safedisc 4.5+ Maxi Images.

          I'm trying to do a mini-image for BF1942, I'll try it now and post how it goes.
