I'm using Windows XP x64. my NEC DVD+-RW ND=3530A would not work after the installation of Daemon Tools 4091 x64. Both the scsi device and the dvd+-rw were listed with a exclamation after installation. I attempted to change the drive letter for daemon tools, but it was not an allowed action and failed when I tried. I could not see either device in the Windows Disk Management. I have uninstalled Daemon Tools and I still have this problem.
Both had this error in device manager:
Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)
