  • Protection ID - Virus?!?

I've just updated my Anti Virus to the 2007 version, and it found out that Protection ID got a virus... Wasn't this supposed to be a safe program?

Sorry if this is in wrong thread, but there is no thread about other problems, and this is kinda related to DeamonTools.

    Wrong section!
Most likely it is a false positive. Where did you download PID?

      Downloaded it from http://pid.gamecopyworld.com/,

      Got the link from NetSoerfer

      On my first thread http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/showthread.php?t=14740

About a month ago ran the program, and it prompted me about an update which I accepted to download,
The virus is in the .rar file after what I know(Don't think it has "Affected" me, scanning now anyway.

Also, please supplement the correct section so I can put it in first line of first post and ask a moderator to move it?

      Thanks.

thats the backup server jito, the pid.gamecopyworld.com is the main one.. and is the 'preferred' one, any files downloaded from either of those sites mentioned should be clean... the false positive before was caused by the packer used (if i remember right), the next versions should not have this problem

Yeah, I know. I was just mentioning it as an alternative in case - for whatever reason - he couldn't access the other site.
