  • vIDE Support

    I see that DAEMON Tools Pro Advanced now inlcudes "vIDE support". I have looked for an explanation of its functionality, but I cannot find it.

    Could someone please explain "vIDE support" to me?

    Thanks.

    vide = virtual ide
    before, daemon was vscsi -> virtual scsi
    same sort of concept, just a different adaptor
    idea is/was that 'switching' (though now both are available, but only on certain os') to virtual ide, it would avoid the 'general scsi' blacklists...
