  • Windows Vista Problem

I have a new laptop with Windows Vista Home Premium. I just installed Daemon Tools, restarted, finished the install. Things looked fine. I tried to open it and I got a message saying, "Please use local administrator account to run DAEMON Tools for the first time!" However, I am on the administrator account. I only have one account on the computer.

What shall I do? Thanks for any help you can provide.

You are not really use administrator rights.

Disable UAC (User Access Control) in control panel/users or rightclick on DT and select "run as adminstrator".
Make something idiot proof, but then they just make a better idiot
