When you get this - DON'T press ok, just got to device manager, what you see there? Is 'PnP BIOS Extension' present? What about virtual SCSI controller?

              Device Setup error: code25032

              Operating System: Win98se
              Burning Software: none
              Anti-virus Software: none
              DAEMON Tools Version: 3.44

I have this same problem. The error message comes very near the end, after the installer has compiled a driver database.

I checked Device Manager when the error is displayed.
              SCSI drivers are, d344prt.mpd, ios.vxd
PnP Bios Extension drivers are, d344bus.sys, VMM32.VXD (ntkern.vxd)

I have Daemon Tools running fine on my Win2k desktop, but I have this problem on my laptop. Can you suggest anything?

              Ben

You mean you get 25032 but SCSI controller in DeviceManager is working fine?!

The SCSI dirver was present and the icon was on my desktop, but when I clicked on OK in the error messsage test box, the installer backed out and uninstalled everything.

I did get it to work last night, though. When I got the "25032" error message, I pressed CTL-ALT-DEL, and in the Task Manager, I ended the Install task. This terminated it with out uninstalling everything. The virtual drive is set up and working fine now.

                  Thanks,

                  Ben

Before pressing 'ok' there are only Paragon Emulator Virtual SCSI Controller in device manager. PnP Bios Extension has yellow sign on it and says that it can't load the drivers.

@yupsi: what is actual error code in devica manager?
You reproduce this every time with 3.44? We may try to figure our what's going on if you mail me to venom386@daemon-tools.cc

                        Operating System: WinXP
Burning Software: Nero 6.3, CloneCD (dunno but i deleted driver while trying to install this)
Anti-virus Software: non (shut down KAV. removed it from services)
                        DAEMON Tools Version: 3.44

                        Hiho,
i got reely pissed of today when i saw that my favorite emulator wont work on my WinXP. At first, while trying to install it i got 25001 error. I read some topics here and as some advised i tried to uninstall some files DT might left from prvious instllation (but error wouldnt show up from start if this was the prob). I deleted shit load of things from registry (things that had SCSI miniport written on them). I saw there was a lot of em so i quit after a while. Also deleted some driver that are no longer used from system32/drivers. After all this i got 25009 error :/ So i installed old version on WinXP. I even tried disableing Windows File Protection while installing. DT 3.44 worked on same computer on Win98.

last few lines of install log before i got error:

Before trying to install make sure there are no unknown devices in device manager and no driver left from previous version. Check '25002...'
thread in common solution section for details.
AFter reboot try again. If you still have prob them post full error message and send FULL log.
