  • Call of Duty Help needed

Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Home
Burning Software: Roxio Easy CD creater 5
    Anti-virus Software: None
    DAEMON Tools Version: 3.33

    Hello,

I had installed a copy of Call of Duty using CD Images and Daemon Tools. I had to get a cracked .exe file in order for the game to run properly. I recently came into possesion of a legitimate version of the game, so I uninstalled the old version and installed the new one.

The problem occurs when I try to run the game: it says that the correct CD is not inserted in the drive, even though it is. I uninstalled Daemon tools, and also deleted the relevant regigstry keys. However, the problem persists. Call of Duty's (unhelpful) tech support suggested that it was something with Daemon Tool Registry keys, but offered no other help.

If anyone could offer assistance, it would be much appreciated! Happy Holidays!

You have to use newest Daemon Tools version to avoid stupid SafeDisc 3.10 blacklists!
In case you have an nForce2 board read the CoD readme!
Everybody be cool! You, be cool!
They'll keep fighting! And they'll win!
