  • Safedisc 4.85?

We got a software that won't work without the original disc.

We really hate to carry that expensive CD in the field so we were looking to run it via an image on the HD or a cd copy.

The last time I checked, it was using the latest Safedisc 4.85

    Any help please?

Purchase DT Pro Advanced, mount the created image (with DT Pro) into virtual IDE drive and then it will work.
Make something idiot proof, but then they just make a better idiot

I also have problems with SafeDisc 4.85.
There is a software that uses this protection in its setup.exe file.
I have purchased and installed Daemon Tools Pro Advanced, and activated an IDE-VirtualDrive, deleting the Scsi one.
The only way I could get past the "Please insert the correct DVD-ROM, select OK and restart application" message, was to physically unplug the DVD-Drive. But that doesn't work for me, because I have to install this software on a remote server that cannot be opened...
