  • Got an extra virtual drive

    Operating System: WinXP Pro SP1
    Burning Software: Nero 5.5.9.14 , Alcohol 120%
    Anti-virus Software: AVG 6.0
    DAEMON Tools Version: v3.44

Hi, new to daemon tools here, so far it looks good

I installed Daemon Tools and everything went well. I restart, and I have a new drive showing in explorer (shows as F: ... everything good so far).

Then I install Alcohol 120%, which requires a restart. So when I log back in, I have an extra drive ( G: ) showing in explorer.

The first one appears to work since I mounted an .mds to it, but the 2nd one is there and Im not sure why. I check the taskbar icon menus and it is set to only 1 drive.

So, that being said, Ive seen some of the other threads and I see how to completely remove the drives, but I just want to remove the one ( G: ).

    Thanks.
Great work on the software, its kickass

Alcohol can perform similar virtual drive mounting, could it be the source of the G: drive?

Ah, that was it, I didn't know Alcohol 120% could do that.

But I turned it off in the options for A120 and its gone.

      Thanks
