  • Install problem.

    I have downloaded the pro vesion of the daemon tools for evaluation purpose but I cannot finish the installation.

    When the product is almost installed it askes of me for activation, but for some reason it cannot complete it due to:

    "connection to the server failed, please check your internet connection and firewall".

    I have enabled the installation with he firewall and even turned it off but I cannot seem to activate the product.

    I am using a router, perhaps there is some kind of port I need to open?

    Check your hosts file for disc-soft.com entry and remove it.
    Also try to uninstall your firewall for testing purposes, there are firewalls which blocks files without any notice.
    Make something idiot proof, but then they just make a better idiot
