im not sure if im even right about this but i have been putting peices together and came to the conclusion that daemon tools will emulate a dvd drive. i want to rip some dvd's onto my comp but i dont have a dvd drive. am i right or am i totaly off base about this. will daemon tools let me read dvd's and if yes then how do i do it?

Use e.g. DVD Decrypter to create an image, mount it, then play it using a software player like e.g. WinDVD.

Well, you need one to create the image(s) ... you don't need one to play the mounted image from virtual drive.

Just let someone else make an iso of the DVD.. Copy it (over a network) to your PC and mount the image in D-Tools.... Easy, not ?
