  • Help playing a back-up.

Trying to play a back-up of Battlefield 1942 but having a problem. *Note* this is my first time trying this. The game was ripped using Alcohol 120% and Safedisk 2/3.

I burned the images onto two CD-RW's (700 MB/80Min Memorex) with Nero. I was able to install the game using the back-ups, but when I go to play using the CD-RW's the Battlefield thing comes up but that's as far as it gets. It never actually starts. I'm not sure if this is in the correct forum or not, if it is please move it. Thanks for any help.

Do you play from writer? You've to enable a hide ATIP function, e.g. Daemon Tools SafeDisc emulation.
But I don't understand why you create images with Alcohol and write them with Nero!? You should re-create those images in native Alcohol mds-format and write them with Alcohol, 'cause Nero could have problems with SafeDisc2.
Everybody be cool! You, be cool!
They'll keep fighting! And they'll win!
