The Program Won't Run

I installed DAEMON Tools Lite 4.30.0.0 on my PC (I'm running Windows Vista) , but the shortcuts and .exe file don't work .
I tried to reinstall the program several times , but it was no use . I also tried to restart my PC , but it didn't give any result.

Is daemon.exe showing up in task manager and you checked tray area as written in another thread?

Also 4.30.3 is the latest version, so you may consider to update.

I checked the Task Manager and it was there , but it didn't appear in the Tray area .
