  • Daemon drive is not checked by program looking for CD

I have no idea what to do. Is there a way to set the virtual drive as a default drive? I keep trying to run a program that asks to add a file, and when I click the add file button I hear a click whirring in my physical drive, and then the program complains that it could not find a CD in the drive. How can I get it to check the virtual drive?

Errror message are mostly caused by copy protection.
Please scan install folder with Protection ID.

I don't understand. Scan the install folder with what? Surely you don't mean a virus scan. And what is the install folder exactly? Is that the folder for the program in the Program Files folder?

Anyway, I do not have a real error message. I simply have a program that is automatically looking in my physical CD drive for a CD, and I need to convince it to look at the virtual Daemon drive instead. How do I make it so that the virtual drive gets checked by something that's only auto-checking the physical drive?
