      Not a real DT bug, just a false positive by AVG.
      Set setup and dtprohlp.exe to exclusion list. Should work then (after reinstalling with disabled AVG).
      I contacted AVG so they can release updated antivirus definitions.

      Regarding 304. You upgraded your license to 305 and therefore 304 isn't working anymore.

          Tools -> Advanced Settings -> PUP Exceptions
          and Resident Shields -> Exceptions

          There add install folder (e. g. c:\program files\daemon tools pro) and DTProHlp.exe.

          Just tested myself, without exceptions adding i get File Corrupted. With exceptions everything works.

              AVG replied:

              Unfortunately, the current virus database version may detect the
              mentioned virus on some legitimate applications. We can confirm that
              it is a false alarm. We would like to inform you that the false
              positive will be removed in the next Definitions update. Please update
              your AVG and if a new Definitions update was downloaded, check whether
              the file is still detected.
