  • Windows 7 and vIDE?

Hello all, I bought the Daemon Tools Pro Advanced Version with 1year licence and I see that under Windows 7 b7100, I cannot make virtual IDE devices. Is this normal or I am missing somithing? All is working fine but the Create Virtual IDE is greyed out...

Due to bug in Windows 7 vIDE is currently not supported.

It is normal as it is deactivated in Win 7 due to a compatibility issue Microsoft have to fix (BSOD).

      EDIT: Damn too late.
Could you change your forum e-mail address to the one over at disc-soft.com so you can get your customer tag here please?

I have recently bought pro advanced version because it clearly stated "Windows 7 compatible" which after what I have read is partly true...

Is there any ETA on the fix for this flaw?

            Thank you

You've to address that question to Microsoft.
