View Full Version : BSOD when using usb dvd+-R/RW after installing daemontools

Operating System: Windows XP Pro
Burning Software: Roxio Easy CD Creator 5
Anti-virus Software: N/A (smart people dont get virii)
DAEMON Tools Version: 3.44

I get a BSOD whenever I insert the Dell specific DVD/CD +- R/RW USB 2.0 drive drive that came with my Dell Latitude D400.

Incidentally my use of daemontools is a good example case for Daemontools since playing games that require a play cd in the drive is impossible on the go since trying to juggle my laptop and the dongle drive is nearly impossible in a waiting room or airplane. I use daemontools currently to play neverwinter nights without the play cd.

Unfortunately, i can't use my dvd wile the drivers for daemontools are installed because of the problem listed above.

If there is a fix for this, please let me know. I'm having to use networked drives until I know for sure if I need to uninstall daemontools.

Uninstall easy cd creator - it is more than likely cause of your problem.
