  • vIDE not working in Windows 7 RC?

    Hello there.

I've just installed DT Pro Advanced 4.30.0305.0077 Trial on Windows 7 RC (build 7100) and I can't get vIDE drives to work. "Add IDE Virtual Drive" is grayed out in both DT Pro main program and DT Pro Agent. Also, in Virtual Device Manager, the button on top of VDM states "IDE Adapter not supported" and is grayed out too.

    Things I've tried:
    1) Rebooting after the installation.
    2) Running DT Pro in different compatibility modes as well as with administrator privileges.

Is this a limitation of current SPTD drivers or trial version? Or maybe a problem with my configuration?

I've looked through the forums but couldn't find anything on this problem, yet there are some messages about it on other forums, but no solution to be found.

    Thanks in advance.

Due to bug in Windows 7 vIDE is currently not supported.

So is there any news on when vIDE will be supported in Windows 7 x64? I tend to rely highly of that feature within DTools.
