Anti-virus Software: Norton Anti Virus Professional 2004, Norton Internet Security Professional 2004

I have a DVD .img movie file and everything works and plays fine after mounting the image and playing it through PowerDVD. However, a small annoyance in this is that the audio flickers.
The audio is fine, its just in the background you hear this flickering/ crackling sound. It is really annoying. The file's audio says it uses the English 5.1, English 2.0 codec whatever that is.
But generally the audio should work fine, so that flickering/crackling in the background shouldnt really be there. Any Suggestions?
