  • How to change the name of a virtual drive in DAEMON manager?

    Operating System: windows xp professional
    Burning Software: drag'n drop CD+DVD 3.00.259, Nero 5.5.9.6
    Anti-virus Software: Norton Anti-Virus 2003 Professional Edition
    DAEMON Tools Version: 3.46

I made an image of my CD(d2x) and mounted with DAEMON, but it still asks to "Insert CD!"

I looked through the Help Manual, and it said a possible solution was to rename the virtual drive in DAEMON manager. But I can't figure out how to. If anyone knows please help me!! ^^

    thanx!!

How did you create the image? (Software & settings used)
Note that the protection (SecuROM v5) requires appropriate image with DPM data (e.g. Alcohol or Blindwrite).

I used Nero to create the image. Open Nero >> Recorder >> Save Track >> Change .nrg to .iso >> Go!

The settings would be default, cuz I just installed Nero for creating the image.

        DAEMON Tools Version: -

As said, Nero is unusable for this protection.

Also, think to uninstall every old virtual drive, (for example CloneCD CloneDrive).
        You don't need it !
