    Operating System: Windows XP Pro SP1a
    Burning Software: Nero Burning ROM 6.3.0.2
    Anti-virus Software: AVG 6.0 Free Edition
    DAEMON Tools Version: 3.44

    Here is what i did to produce the problem:
    subst G: "C:\WINDOWS"
    subst H: "C:\Program Files"
    "subst" with no parameters to view drives, they were created successfully.
    I have a floppy on A:
    I have 2 Hard drives (C: and D
    I have a DVD-Rom (E and CD-RW (F
    Open daemon tools 3.44 with no drives currently enabled.
    Enable four virtual drives.
    Open "My Computer" to view list of devices.

    The virtual drives created by daemon tools take the substitute drive's letters and the virtual hard disk drives have disappeared. Here is a list of all the patches i have installed.

    Can anyone else reproduce this problem?

    Probably the well known Windows bug:
    Your problem with assigning drive letters was reported sometimes, but this is not Daemon issue. Drive letters for CDROM are assigned by Windows itself (not Daemon) and this is in fact bug in mount point manager, which assigns new letter over existing network mapping.
