  • Virtual Drives never appear

    Hi,

I've recently installed Daemon Tools Lite onto my computer. Everything was working fine, up to when I began mounting images.

Whenever I attempt to mount an image using daemon tools, no virtual drives show up. When I look on my computer or my computer's hardware, there are no DVD or CD drives. The autorun does not work either. There are no messages, the thing simply does not work.

With my previous desktop, Daemon Tools worked well, and I was hoping you all could help me. I'm running Windows Vista Business Class on a Lenovo X60 Tablet Laptop.

    Thanks,

No Virtual Drive in My Computer (Files don't exist)

I've been looking at this part of the website for support, but when it tells me to copy the Inf and PNF files for vista users from these two directories,

    C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\cdr om.inf_b2045cb8

    C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\msh dc.inf_1d87dda2

these folders don't exist. Can anyone help me, or tell me which of the other 3 drivers i have in my computer that start with mshdc.inf and cdrom.inf
