  • 1.60 SPTD error...

Im getting "1.60 has to be higer blah blah blah and kernal must be deactivated" error... i tried to fix this by removing sptd from regedit but when i try to delete, im getting "error has occurred while trying to delete" help plz

i have windows XP, and because of this problem, i reinstalled XP more than 5 times (all clean install)

P.S-when deleting sptd in regedit, i gave permission to all the users

    You also set owner value?
Which security software are you running?

you also have to right click on config in the sptd and enable all permissons then you will be able to delete the sptd.

reboot, reinstall and your good to go
