I've notice that many says a mal-functioning of DT on HP Z-series because of BIOS adaptation for SPTD driver, but there's also such problems with Thinkpad T410(and other new series such as X201), which is probably equipped with upgraded BIOS. ACPI is set to run all the time, but SPTD sees it as 'turned off in the BIOS' and returns an error.
I've seen thread 'Hewlett-Packard Z-series systems (Z-400, Z-600, etc.) + DAEMON Tools problem', will that solve problems with new Thinkpads?
