What security software do you use? Did you try to disable it?

Don't forget to check your hosts file for disc-soft.com entry.

QUESTION: having the same problem too...

So I click "Run" then I click "Next" and then "I Agree" for the terms and conditions. I click "Trial License" and click "Next". I choose "Advanced Edition" because that's the one I downloaded. I hit "Next" and the next thing I see is this:

                  Pic1

and a second later a new window pops up:

                  Pic2

I really have no idea what to do anymore :'( T_T

I looked at tutorial videos on how to install it but it didn't help.

**I got the Daemon Tools from here**

The Layout of the site from the video and the layout from where I downloaded it are totally different. But I think I can make out the URL from the video and it matches the URL where I downloaded it.

I also already tried choosing "Standard Edition" instead. The same results happened.

Then I researched that we're supposed to restart the computer before installing.

I did that too. Still didn't work.

Steps I took to install the Daemon Tools:
                  1. Downloaded it from the site.

                  Pic3

                  2. Then I moved the file from 'Downloads folder" to another folder that I can easily access from my desktop.
                  3. I clicked it and did the steps I mentioned above.
                  4. Didn't work, so I researched.
                  5. Restarted my computer.
                  6. Nothing really happened, so I just clicked it again and did the steps I did earlier.
                  7. Still didn't work.
                  --now I'm stuck :|--

                  Can anyone help me? D:

                    1. Check you hosts file. There should be no entries for disc-soft.com and secure.disc-soft.com.
                    2. Check your connection settings ("Connection settings..." button on this screenshot).
                    3. Try to disable your security software. It may block DAEMON Tools requests.
