Installing a game from 2 CDs

Hey there.
I'm trying to install an expansion pack of the sims that just doesn't install itself when I try it the normal way. So I got clone Cd and daemon tools to make images of the 2 cds and install it that way. Halfway through the installation the installer prompts me to put in the 2nd cd and I just change the image that I'm using to the 2nd image but then I get the error message saying that there was a transfer error. What can I do against this?

Then I tried copying the data from both cds on to desktop to see if that'd work but I got an error message saying that data 2 couldn't be copied cause it couldn't read from the given drive :?

probably you do not have the original cd, but I suppose you have ^^

2nd reason bad image ... rewrite your images using safedisc2 option in alc

3rd reason maybe your original cd is useless , because of some defects?!

My original CD was useless :cry: I took it back yesterday and fought with the salesman to get a new copy :lol:
