  • SPTD v1.78 and long Windows 7 start

    Hi.

    Sorry for my bad English

When I install SPTD v1.78 my Windows 7 start in... ~ 3-4 minutes.
When I uninstall SPTD my Windows 7 start in ~40 seconds.
I again install SPTD v1.78 and Windows again need ~3-4 minutes to start.

    So it is SPTD fault.

I follow THIS guide - step by step - I clean all SPTD files/registry entries. Restart PC (40 seconds to start). Install SPTD v1.78 and again Windows need ~3-4 minutes to start?

    What should I do?

My OS is Windows 7 Home Premium, security software: Symantec Norton Internet Security 2011.

Have you already cross-checked if it's a security software conflict by temporarily uninstalling NIS 2011 ?

        Ok.

        I removed NIS - restart.
        Used Norton Removal Tool. Restart

and nothing. Windows still start very long.
I created System Report from Alcohol 52% - maybe it help? It is HERE. (Alcohol is temporary in my pc, when is gone problem still exist).

Please open the System Configuration Utility (msconfig.exe).
Go to 'Services' and check 'Hide all Microsoft services'.
Choose to 'Disable all' and restart your system.
          Any improvement ?

Any errors in Computer Management/Event Viewer/Windows Logs/System during the boot-up time frame ?
